U.S. Plans $320 Million Precision Munitions to Israel

(Worthy News) – Amid growing concerns regarding the increasing civilian casualties in Gaza, the Biden administration is preparing a significant $320 million transfer of precision bombs to Israel, the Wall Street Journal reported.

On October 31, the administration formally notified Congress of the intended transfer of Spice Family Gliding Bomb Assemblies, a specific type of precision-guided munition deployed by warplanes, as per documents examined by The Wall Street Journal.

Critics of Israel claim that airstrikes have also impacted U.N. facilities, including schools repurposed as shelters for displaced individuals, as well as hospitals, ambulances, and other civilian sites.  However, Israel claims that Hamas is using these sites as human shields to launch terrorist attacks.

HOSPITALS BEING USED BY HAMAS

On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) unveiled fresh intelligence, presenting additional proof that the Hamas terrorist organization is utilizing medical facilities in the Gaza Strip for illicit purposes.

“Hamas systematically built the Indonesian Hospital to disguise its underground terror infrastructure,” IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said in a press conference.

Hagari stated that the IDF possesses intelligence regarding a tunnel network beneath the facility known as the Indonesian Hospital, along with aerial images indicating the presence of rocket launchers just a short distance from the complex.

The area around Gaza’s largest hospital, Al-Shifa, experienced particularly intense strikes, as stated by Salama Marouf, the head of the Hamas government’s media office. However, these claims could not be independently verified. Israel contends that the hospital serves as the primary operational base for the terror group.

The escalation in bombardment followed the IDF’s release of new intelligence on Sunday, which it said provided additional evidence of Hamas using medical facilities in the Gaza Strip for shielding its terror activities.
