JERUSALEM/GAZA (Worthy News) – Israel’s army blew up Hamas’s parliament building in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, two days after soldiers in the Golani Unit pictures themselves holding Israeli flags there, footage obtained by Worthy News showed.

Video reportedly from the scene showed a large explosion destroying the structure, as another symbol of Hamas power ended in ruins.

Elsewhere, Israeli troops planted the Israeli flag and the banner of their Givati Brigade atop one of the United Nations-operated schools where critics said, “Gaza children have for 20 years been taught to hate and kill the Jews.”

Many of these children grew into “the terrorists” who attacked Israel on October 7 atrocities, killing at least 1,200 people and taking more than 200 hostages, according to Israel’s military.

Israeli soldiers also took over the Al-Quds University in Gaza that they “will not teach Jews hatred anymore. We control it”, the army said.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they also captured Hamas’s “military academy,” which Israel views as a breeding ground for terrorists, footage showed.

ENTERING HOSPITAL

Elsewhere, the IDF troops were continuing their operation inside the Al-Shifa Hospital, Gaza’s largest medical fragility, several sources confirmed. Israel’s military said they are searching for “Hamas terror infrastructure and weapons” inside the complex in Gaza City.

Youssef Abul Reesh, an official from the Hamas-run health ministry who is inside Gaza’s Shifa hospital, told the media he saw Israeli tanks inside the complex and “dozens of soldiers and commandos inside the emergency and reception buildings.”

The US says it has intelligence backing Israel’s claim that the operation is necessary as Hamas “has a command center under Al-Shifa.”

Hamas denies this despite previous video evidence of such command centers beneath other medical facilities.

Earlier, a doctor at the hospital said, “200 patients had been buried there in a mass grave.”

It was difficult to verify those figures independently, and Israel said it had been careful to avoid civilian casualties.

AID DELIVERY

The hospital also said it is short of fuel. Israel countered that Hamas has been shifting away fuel from the Palestinian population to fire rockets at Israel.

Additionally, the IDF said troops began delivering humanitarian aid to the hospital’s entrance.

However, with clashes ongoing in the territory, thousands of people have been sleeping inside and outside the hospital, including in tents, while facing nights in torrential rain.

Israel began striking Gaza after Hamas’s October attacks, described as the worst atrocities against Jews since the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah.

The Hamas-run health ministry said more than 11,000 people have been killed in Gaza since – of whom more than 4,500 were children, but those figures have been difficult to verify.

Hamas has not said how many fighters were among the reported deaths.
