(Worthy News) – The Boko Haram Islamic jihadist terror group killed two Christians during a murderous rampage through a predominantly Christian village in Nigeria’s Adamawa state on Christmas Day, Morning Star News (MSN) reports.

Even as Fulani jihadist terrorists slaughtered 160 Christians in Nigeria’s Plateau state over the Christmas weekend, Boko Haram attacked Kwapre village, Hong County in Adamawa state on Christmas Day, burning down houses and looting shops in addition to murdering two residents, MSN reports.

Like Islamic State, Boko Haram and Fulani jihadists are intent on dominating and controlling Nigeria with their version of Islamic Sharia law and exceedingly violent ideology.

“While Christians here in Kwapre were celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ like other Christians across the world, Boko Haram invaded our community and killed two Christians,” resident Hosea Yakubu told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News in a text message.

“These terrorists attacked our community using deadly weapons like guns and machetes. Many other Christians were injured and houses destroyed during the attack.”

In a separate statement, Kwapre community leader Simon Buba said he has filed a complaint with the authorities. “Terrorists who are members of the Boko Haram sect attacked my community on Christmas Day while they were in festive mood,” Buba told MSN in a text message.

“A day that we were celebrating God’s faithfulness in our lives was turned into a day of mourning. Two Christians were killed, and many houses were destroyed,” Buba said.

With Islamic jihadist terrorists now deeply entrenched across swathes of the country, Nigeria ranks 6th on the US Open Doors World Watch List 2023 of the top 50 countries where Christians are violently persecuted.
