(Worthy News) – Amid concerns that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology constitutes a major threat against faith in God, a newly available AI-powered Bible app aims to help users deepen their walk with Jesus by personalizing their study of Scripture, CBN News reports.

Available on iOS and the Google Play Store, the AI-powered Insight Bible was founded by digital marketing manager and entrepreneur Tiatun Tiatun, CBN News reports. A key feature of the app is Pastor AI, a digital Bible assistant that can clarify users’ questions about the Scriptures and about life in general.

“Insight Bible goes beyond static engagement.” Tiatun told CBN News. “The app evolves with you, utilizing Machine Learning to personalize your Bible journey. As you interact with the app, it adapts to your preferences and study patterns, providing a truly personalized experience.”

Nevertheless, Christians and digital experts alike are concerned that over reliance on Artificial Intelligence may result in its replacing human intelligence and even faith in God. In a statement to CBN Digital, author Jeff Kinley said: “We’re moving as a society towards replacing humanity in just about every way possible — replacing human labor, human thought, human writing, trying to pretty much put humanity to the margins of the narrative here.”

“The idea of deception, because artificial intelligence is not human intelligence,” Kinley explained. “And so there’s obviously the capacity for a lot of bias in there — prescripted, inherent bias, but also just the idea of putting out a false narrative and someone says, ‘Hey, the AI must know more than me.'”
