(Worthy News) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the reported agreements regarding hostages, prisoner exchanges, and a ceasefire. He asserted Israel would not release thousands of terrorists and that the conflict would not conclude until Israel achieved a complete victory, fulfilling all its objectives, including the elimination of Hamas from the Gaza Strip.

“This is not ‘another round,’ neither is it an exchange of blows nor is it an operation – it is total victory. Nothing less. I am committed to it. Our fighters are committed to it, and the overwhelming majority of the people are committed to it. We will not compromise on anything less than total victory,” Netanyahu said.

“I hear talk about all kinds of deals. I would like to make it clear: We will not conclude this war without achieving all of its goals. This means eliminating Hamas, returning all of our hostages, and ensuring that Gaza never again constitutes a threat to Israel,” Netanyahu asserted.

“We will not withdraw the IDF from the Gaza Strip and we will not release thousands of terrorists. None of this will happen. What will happen? Total victory!,” Netanyahu declared.

Over the weekend, talks held in Paris, with representatives from Israel, the United States, Egypt, and Qatar, reportedly reached a framework on a proposed cease-fire agreement that would involve the release of hostages held by Hamas.

It was reported across several media outlets that the negotiated framework proposed the release of 100-250 prisoners for each hostage taken. The agreement potentially involved freeing up to 5,000 prisoners, including those facing serious charges such as murder.

However, Netanyahu’s office refuted the claims, and Hamas rejected the proposed deal, stating that only when Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip would hostages be released.
