(Worthy News) – Amid war and generally exceedingly high tensions in the Middle East, terror-sponsor Iran is reported by the UN to have further increased its total stockpile of enriched uranium required for a nuclear bomb, the Associated Press reports.

In a confidential report seen by AP and distributed to UN member states, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that as of Feb. 10, it estimates Iran’s total enriched uranium stockpile was at 5,525.5 kilograms, an increase of 1,038.7 kilograms since November.

The IAEA also said that Tehran was continuing to bar UN inspectors from monitoring its nuclear program, AP reports.

While Iran’s rogue Islamic regime continues to deny it is seeking to develop nuclear weapons and insists its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, the IAEA warned last year Tehran has enough enriched uranium for “several” nuclear bombs if it decided to build them, AP reports.

The issue is a major concern worldwide as Iran is known as the world’s primary sponsor of Islamic terrorism. The already ever-volatile Middle East is currently brimming over with Iran-backed unorthodox warfare as Tehran protégés Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the Houthis in Yemen are presently attacking Israel specifically and Western targets more generally as part of the war triggered by Hamas against Israel on Oct. 7 last year.
