(Worthy News) – An Israeli company has launched a cutting-edge AI-based app that will provide cancer patients with customized, round-the-clock care as they progress in their recovery plan, i24News reports.

Developed by Belong.Life, a company known for providing innovative AI-based patient education and support solutions, the BelongAI Dave – Cancer Mentor app has been described as the most advanced of its kind.

The BelongAI Dave – Cancer Mentor app is intended to empower patients and caregivers by providing customized guidance and resources, assistance in considering treatment options, and help in communicating with healthcare professionals, i24News reports.

The Belonglife website describes the app as: “A must have for every cancer patient. The world’s first proactive conversational AI cancer mentor.” The purpose of the app is “Enhancing patient quality of life and quality of care through technology, data and AI,” the website explains.

In a statement about the new app, Eliran Malki, co-founder and CEO of Belong.Life, emphasized that cancer support should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstances: “Proximity to hospital or bank account size should not determine priority in answering patients’ questions and needs. The BelongAI Dave – Cancer Mentor app will allow us to make personalized cancer support accessible and affordable for everyone,” Malki attested.
