(Worthy News) – During the ongoing operation, now in its fourth day, at Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, the IDF and Shin Bet security agency have reported the death of approximately 140 terrorists and the arrest of around 650 operatives, which includes several high-ranking commanders from terrorist organizations of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The IDF reports that Islamic Jihad operatives, including key figures; Hussam Salameh, commander of the observation and intelligence unit in Gaza City, and his brother Wissam Salameh, head of the group’s propaganda unit in Gaza City, have surrendered at the medical center.

Also captured at Shifa were three high-ranking officials from Hamas’s West Bank operations, aimed at orchestrating attacks against Israel, the IDF reports.

The Shin Bet has identified them as Amr Asida, leader of the Nablus unit; Mahmoud Qawasmeh, a planner behind the 2014 abduction and killing of three Israeli teenagers; and Hamdallah Hassan Ali, linked to recent West Bank attacks.

The updated numbers represent a significant rise from the figures reported on Wednesday, with the IDF having documented approximately 90 terrorist deaths and arrests ranging from 160 to 350 terrorists at that time.

The IDF indicates that ongoing resistance could extend the operation at the Shifa Complex by several more days, with estimates suggesting roughly 50 Hamas fighters remaining to be neutralized, including 20 who are believed to hold significant positions.
