(Worthy News) – In an extraordinary public statement, Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency hailed the nation’s stunning success in Operation Rising Lion, calling it a “historic moment” that has significantly neutralized the Iranian threat after a 12-day aerial and covert campaign.

“These are historic days for the people of Israel,” Mossad Director David Barnea said in a rare video message Wednesday. “The Iranian threat, which has endangered our security for decades, has been significantly neutralized.” Barnea, speaking from a Mossad operations center, credited the operation’s success to seamless coordination with the IDF and the “critical support” of the United States, including the CIA.

The CIA confirmed Mossad’s assessment, with Director John Ratcliffe stating that “credible intelligence” shows several of Iran’s key nuclear sites were destroyed and will take years to rebuild. According to Ratcliffe, the damage was confirmed by “a historically reliable source and method,” revealing that Iran’s ability to enrich uranium has been crippled.

A Covert Assault with Global Backing

The surprise offensive, launched June 13 and concluded Tuesday under a U.S.-brokered ceasefire, was one of Israel’s most complex military operations in modern history. Mossad reportedly smuggled drones and weapons systems into Iran using trucks, shipping containers, and even suitcases. These assets were used to strike air defense systems, ballistic missile launchers, and nuclear infrastructure.

Sources close to the operation revealed that Israeli agents inside Iran coordinated drone deployments and ground activities, providing air supremacy to Israeli fighter jets operating over hostile territory. Commandos, both IDF and possibly Mossad, operated deep within Iran, targeting critical sites and enabling precision airstrikes.

Strategic, Not Just Tactical Victory

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir called the campaign “a definitive success,” stating that Iran’s nuclear program suffered not just localized damage, but “systemic destruction” that set it back by years. He confirmed that hundreds of Iranian missile launchers were destroyed and Tehran’s force buildup delayed indefinitely.

“We reached operational freedom in the skies over Iran,” Zamir said, crediting intelligence, technology, and elite commando forces with achieving superiority across all battle domains.

A New Chapter in Regional Deterrence

Barnea praised the Mossad’s years of preparation, noting the operation’s success was built on decades of groundwork. “Objectives that once seemed imaginary have now been achieved,” he said. “Israel today is a safer, braver country — ready for what lies ahead.”

He also thanked the CIA for its close partnership. “This success would not have been possible without our American allies,” Barnea said, acknowledging the CIA’s support in critical mission planning and real-time intelligence.

A Blow to Iran, A Message to the Region

The offensive reportedly destroyed uranium enrichment sites in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. Satellite imagery revealed craters and collapsed tunnels, while unconfirmed reports suggest underground bunkers were obliterated within minutes of the opening strike. Iran launched over 550 ballistic missiles and 1,000 drones in retaliation, killing 28 Israelis and wounding thousands — yet was unable to alter the trajectory of the war.

Barnea warned that Mossad remains vigilant: “We will keep a watchful eye on every Iranian project. We know them in the deepest detail and will continue to act.”

The campaign is already being compared by security officials to the Six-Day War in terms of psychological and strategic impact. “The most profound achievement is the strengthening of national resolve and regional deterrence,” one official told Ynet. “Now we must convert this into diplomatic capital and long-term security.”

With Iran’s nuclear ambitions severely disrupted, Israel has emerged from the conflict not only emboldened militarily and geopolitically, but also standing at the crossroads of prophetic fulfillment. As the Mossad and IDF celebrate an unprecedented intelligence and operational triumph, many are seeing echoes of Ezekiel 37—where out of dry bones, a great and mighty army arises. What once seemed impossible has taken shape: a resurrected nation, tested by fire, now standing with strength and resolve. The world watches as Israel steps into a moment divinely appointed.
