RALEIGH, NC (Worthy News) – The student revival movement that has been shaking campuses across America surged again Tuesday night as more than 6,000 students packed J.S. Dorton Arena at North Carolina State University to worship Jesus Christ, hear the Gospel, and respond to the call of salvation.
The UniteUS Tour — a student-led movement igniting hunger for God nationwide — witnessed hundreds giving their lives to Christ and 77 students publicly baptized as a sign of their new faith.

Tonya Prewett, founder of UniteUS, celebrated the night as yet another powerful demonstration of God moving among Gen Z.

“What a night at NC State!! We continue to see new miraculous moves of God on each college campus. Last night, thousands of students gave their lives to Jesus!! All glory to God,” Prewett wrote on Instagram.

UniteUS describes itself as “a movement of college students united to lift the name of Jesus.” The ministry has become known for its stadium-sized gatherings where students worship, repent, encounter the Holy Spirit, and receive water baptism.

A Growing National Movement

CBN News has chronicled UniteUS from its early days more than two years ago. Since then, Prewett — along with pastor Jonathan Pokluda and IF: Gathering founder Jennie Allen — have traveled campus to campus meeting students desperate for spiritual renewal.

Allen praised the NC State event: “It was glorious! Go God and thank you @tonyaprew for your yes.”

According to Prewett, the true strength of UniteUS comes from the students themselves.

“The students reach out to us, and I work with a student team to put on the event. They do all the local work. It’s beautiful.”

Last week in Cincinnati, 5,500 students attended a UniteUS event where thousands made decisions for Christ and 2,000 were connected to local churches and ministries.

Prewett said the altar call was so overwhelming that the fire marshal attempted to stop it, but the students pushed forward.

“What the enemy meant for harm, God turned into something we could have never planned,” she wrote.

A Generation Turning Back to God

This fall alone, more than 40,000 students have attended UniteUS events at universities, including:
• University of Cincinnati (5,500)
• Grand Canyon University (7,000)
• University of Tennessee (8,000)
• University of South Florida (7,000)
• University of Oklahoma (9,000)
• North Carolina State University (6,000)

Tuesday night’s worship at NC State was described as a “powerful move of God,” with students praying spontaneously, lifting their hands in worship, and encountering the presence of the Holy Spirit.

“It’s not about a band or a preacher,” one organizer said.

“It’s about a generation turning its heart to God. All glory to Jesus.”

As revival continues to ripple across campuses, UniteUS leaders say their mission is unchanged — to see Jesus lifted high and a generation awakened to the Gospel.
