Netanyahu Declares Major Strategic Gains Against Iran, Says Regime’s Power Has Been Crippled
by Emmitt Barry, Worthy News Washington D.C. Bureau Chief
(Worthy News) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that Israel, in close coordination with the United States, has significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities as the regional conflict entered its fifth week.
In a video statement, Netanyahu said joint strikes have targeted Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile production, regime infrastructure, and proxy forces across the Middle East, calling the campaign a “strategic reversal.”
“Today we are the ones applying pressure,” he said, adding that Iran’s leadership is “weaker than ever.”
Fighting continues across multiple fronts, including Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and areas of Judea and Samaria, with Israel striking Iran-backed groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, as well as conducting direct operations inside Iran.
Netanyahu said Tehran’s massive investment—estimated at nearly $1 trillion—in nuclear and missile development has largely been neutralized. He also pointed to the elimination of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, and efforts to prevent Iran from shielding its weapons programs underground.
Drawing a Passover parallel, Netanyahu described the campaign as delivering “10 blows” to Iran’s “axis,” including strikes on terror groups and key Iranian military assets.
He added that Israel has established security buffer zones in Gaza, southern Lebanon, and near Syria’s border to prevent future attacks, while shifting toward a more proactive military doctrine.
Despite ongoing threats, Netanyahu said Iran-backed groups no longer pose an existential danger or the ability to launch large-scale missile barrages.
He emphasized Israel’s resilience at home and praised both civilians and soldiers, while vowing operations will continue until all objectives are achieved.
“We will continue to strike the terror regime, strengthen our security zones and secure our future,” Netanyahu said.
