30 More Palestinians Arrested by IDF as Operation Brother’s Keeper Continue


JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– In pre-dawn raids Wednesday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) arrested 30 Palestinians, as they searched 100 homes and public institutions affiliated with Hamas, mostly in the Hebron area, according to Israel Radio.

Two of the 30 arrested were part of the 1,027 former prisoners released in 2011 as part of an agreement to release IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

While no injuries were reported in the raids, a military source told Israel Radio that explosive devices were hurled at IDF forces searching the Jenin refugee camp.

Since the start of Operation Brother’s Keeper, 280 Palestinians have been arrested, 53 of whom were former prisoners released as part of the Shalit deal.
