Israel Finds Missing Teens Bodies Near Hebron
JERUSALEM (Worthy News)– Israel Defense Forces (IDF) located the bodies of the three Israeli teenagers who were abducted on June 12 while hitchhiking south of Jerusalem.
The bodies of Eyal Yifrach, 19, Naftali Frenkel, 16, and Gil-Ad Shaer, 16, were found in a shallow grave in a wadi between Beit Khalil and Halhul.
According to preliminary reports, the teens were shot shortly after their kidnapping, which explains why no demands were delivered by the kidnappers.
Clashes erupted between Palestinians and the IDF took place the area the teens were discovered. Roughly 200 Palestinians threw stones at IDF soldiers and security forces responded using riot control measures. All entrances to Hebron were closed as a result.
Since the beginning of Operation Brother’s Keeper nearly 450 Palestinians were arrested, most of them Hamas members.
