India: Christian Families become ‘outcasts’

By Joseph DeCaro

(Worthy News)– Hindu nationalists in India are warning that anyone who even mentions the name of Christ will be banished, boycotted and have all their land confiscated.

According to Barnabas Aid, local church’s will be razed if Indians still persist in worshiping Jesus.

On the national level, just one year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist party won the elections, the General Secretary of the National Council of Churches in India has little hope for the future of Christianity in India.

“We have nothing to celebrate,” said Roger Gaikwad. “Rather, we have reasons to be concerned.”
