Hizb’allah Claims to Have Nabbed Another Israeli

Hizb’Allah claimed on Monday to have captured a high ranking Israeli officer. ISRAEL RADIO reported later in the day that an Israeli citizen named Hanan Sheinbaum has indeed been kidnapped by the Lebanese terrorists. A Hizb’Allah representative interviewed by a foreign TV station said that the kidnapped Israeli is a Mossad agent.

In recent hours, Israel’s defense ministry has confirmed the abduction of an Israeli reserve army colonel by Hizb’Allah forces. Apparently, the colonel was captured by Hizb’Allah in Europe 12 days ago. He may be an Israeli businessman who serves as a senior reserve officer.

Hizb’Allah kidnapped three Israeli soldiers in a carefully staged cross-border incursion at the foot of Mount Hermon last weekend, taking them back over into Lebanon. They have offered to exchange information on their condition for the release of 19 Lebanese still held in Israeli prisons.
