(Worthy News) – Concluding a three-day visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority, Prince William traveled Thursday morning to the Mount of Olives to visit the grave of his great-grandmother, Princess Alice of Battenberg, who saved a Jewish family during the Holocaust and was buried at the cemetery in the late 1980s.
He then headed to the Church of Mary Magdalene, the Temple Mount and the al-Aqsa Mosque. He placed a note in the Western Wall before moving on to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
On Wednesday, William visited the Jalazoun refugee camp in the West Bank and told Palestinians they had not been forgotten and that his trip to the West Bank was a “very powerful one.” [ Source: Ynet News (Read More…) ]
