(Worthy News) – President Trump on Sunday said the U.S. has made “substantial progress” in trade talks with China and he will no longer increase tariffs on Chinese imports on March 1.
Mr. Trump, in a series of Twitter posts, said talks with Chinese negotiators bore fruit on “intellectual property protection, technology transfer, agriculture, services, currency, and many other issues.”
Negotiations between the world’s largest economies are the main side course to a full menu of White House efforts this coming week, including negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un over his nuclear ambitions and dealing with special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian meddling and Mr. Trump’s behavior during and after the 2016 campaign.
