Satellite images uncover new Iranian tunnel in Syria used to hide missiles


(Worthy News) – Satellite images taken in October revealed a new underground tunnel that Iran is building in Syria, the US government says to hide weapons.

Image Sat International, a satellite imaging company, detected a 400 feet long, 14 feet wide, 13 feet deep structure covered by a shed at its entrance on October 5.

The tunnel is large enough for a car to drive through and exists within the Iman Ali military base in eastern Syria, where Israel has been performing airstrikes against Iranian proxies.

The structure is almost complete, and expected to be operational soon.
