The West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas was broken into by a gunman who opened fire during a communion service as the church was live-streaming, parishioners ducking behind pews to avoid the gunfire.
“It’s a very tragic day,” Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Mike Drivdahl said. “Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families that were affected by this incident.”
One of the people killed was the gunmen, whom a firearm-carrying church member shot, but so far police have not released any information as to motive.
