covid coronavirus worthy christian news(Worthy News) – A church in Wuhan, China recently testified to God’s grace in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak that has infected 90,000 people and killed 3,100 people worldwide.

Senior pastor of The Root and Foot Christian Church (RFCC) Huang Lei decided to stay in the city to tend his flock when the disease first appeared, and told International Christian Concern that the fruit of his decision has been an opportunity to witness to the realities of the gospel.

“The Wuhan Pneumonia (officially known as COVID-19) is a rarely seen disaster in human history, yet everything presents an opportunity to glorify God,” he said. “This epidemic provides an opportunity for us to introspect our faith, reflect on ourselves, strengthen our spiritual life and to depend on God.”

Members of the church have gone out into the city in groups of ten to deliver masks and medical supplies to the sick, testifying that even police officers have acknowledged the need for prayer to be lifted up over Wuhan.
