Al-Qaida-linked terrorists order Christians to leave northeast Kenya

(Worthy News) – Somali terrorist group al Shabab has ordered all Christians to leave three counties in northern Kenya, where the group hopes to give their jobs to local Muslims.

The Al-Qaida-linked group argued in a twenty-minute video clip posted online that “Muslim teachers, doctors, engineers, and young graduates from the northeastern province are unemployed. Isn’t it better to give them a chance? There is no need for the presence of disbelievers.”

“This is not news at all because the conduct of the local people here has always suggested that they want us to leave,” said the Rev. Cosmas Mwinzi of the Assemblies of God in Garissa, where the terrorist group carried out its deadliest attack against Christians in 2015, slaying 148 people at the University.

“This region has been unstable for years due to war in Somalia and hatred against non-locals who are mostly Christians,” Mwinzi explained.

Kenya is 85% Christians but 44th on Open Doors USA’s World Watch List due to Islamic terrorism from neighboring Somalia that is slowly encroaching on its territory.
