(Worthy News) – Israeli fighter planes have entered Iran’s airspace multiple times in recent months without being detected by either Iranian or Russian radar, the Jerusalem Post reports. The news that Israeli Air Force F-35 stealth planes had penetrated Iranian airspace in the last two months was reported by the Saudi media outlet Elaph.

While world powers have been working to revive the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Iran nuclear deal, Israel has been getting its fighter planes ready to face the possibility of conflict with a nuclear Iran. In particular, the IAF has upgraded its planes to not require mid-air refueling, JPost reports.

Moreover, Israel has added a new one-ton bomb to the weapons used by the F-35s, JPost said. The bomb is carried inside the jet without affecting its radar status. Recently used in IAF tests, the bomb is understood to be protected against jamming and electronic warfare systems.

According to the Elaph report, the Israeli and US militaries have been practicing joint aerial and maritime strikes on Iran in the Red Sea and simulating the seizure of Iranian vessels in the Gulf Sea, JPost said.

In recent months, the Israeli military has also carried out drills on its own and joint F-35 drills with other countries, JPost said.
