Nineteen Democratic Senators have urged President Joe Biden, in a letter sent on Wednesday, to establish a “bold, public framework” for the United States to unilaterally acknowledge the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state, which would be administered by a reformed Palestinian Authority.
