(Worthy News) – FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday that the bureau has gathered evidence supporting claims by President Donald Trump that the 2020 election was stolen, though he declined to release details, citing an ongoing investigation.

Speaking on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, Patel said the information is being reviewed in coordination with the Department of Justice under Attorney General Todd Blanche.

“We have the information that backs President Trump’s claim,” Patel said, adding that he could not elaborate further but suggested developments may emerge soon. “Stay tuned this week. You might see a thing or two.”

Patel indicated that the material is part of a broader conspiracy case being built alongside federal prosecutors, linking it to ongoing efforts to investigate alleged misconduct tied to past political controversies, including the Russia investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign.

He also stated that arrests are forthcoming in connection with that probe. “We’ve got all the evidence… and we are going to be making arrests — and it’s coming soon,” Patel said during the broadcast.

His remarks come amid renewed scrutiny following a report by The Atlantic alleging concerns about his leadership, including claims of erratic behavior and alcohol use affecting his duties. The article cited multiple unnamed current and former officials and described the situation as a potential national-security concern.

Patel strongly denied the allegations and announced plans to file a defamation lawsuit.

“You want to attack my character? Come at me. Bring it on. I’ll see you in court,” he said, dismissing the report as part of a broader media campaign against him.

Despite the controversy, Patel pointed to what he described as major achievements during his tenure, including reductions in homicide rates and opioid-related deaths, the capture of several high-profile fugitives, and the disruption of planned terrorist attacks.

While Patel’s claims about new evidence mark a significant development, it is notable that courts, state election officials, and federal agencies — including the Justice Department during Trump’s first administration — previously found no widespread fraud sufficient to alter the outcome of the 2020 election.

The situation is expected to draw intense attention in the coming days as the FBI and DOJ continue their investigation.
