Reuters Poll: Trump Losing Ground Among Evangelicals to Carson

(Worthy News) - Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his attacks on his nearest rival for the Republican presidential nomination, Ben Carson. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll may explain why: the billionaire real estate magnate is bleeding support among avid church-goers and women to the retired neurosurgeon.

While the unconstrained Trump has a comfortable double-digit lead over the spoft-spoken Carson, the data points to a possible emerging threat to Trump's hopes of capturing the party's nomination for the November 2016 election. [ Source ]

  1. I am constantly stunned that any self-proclaimed evangelical would consider voting for a man who takes communion but has never bothered to ask Jesus for forgiveness of sins. What is wrong with this country isn't money woes, illegal immigrants, or terrorists. They are just symptoms of the real issue. A true evangelical would know this, and would never vote for a proud, boastful, blasphemer. Pray for him? Yes. Vote him into office? Never. We need a leader who will humble himself before God and be a model of repentance and wisdom...just as the king of Ninevah who humbled himself after the warnings of Jonah. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still evil. Do a write-in, if you must...but vote for a God-fearing man, and leave the results to God.
