Bush Government Retreats: The American Embassy Will Not Be Move to Jerusalem

Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem

Yesterday (February 5, 2001) the American Secretary of State, Colin Powell, retreated from Bush’s campaign promise to start moving the Embassy of the United States from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. President Bush had promised that his first step on taking office would be to move the Embassy.

Powell stated that this is a time of tension and a lot of violence in the area and there are new elections in Israel. They would continue to check when the process can be started. He said that they would continue to check the situation but would not yet take any steps to move the embassy. President Bush’s National Security Adviser, Condoliza Rice, also said that the new administration is still committed to move the embassy but she was not ready to say when it would be done.

It is so sad for the American people that their new president is not fulfilling his promise to move the embassy to Jerusalem just as his predecessor did during his term of office. In his election campaign, President Clinton promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem but when he came to office he did not fulfil the decision of Congress to do so. Every time he found another excuse to delay the implementation of this decision. So many people in the United States who voted for President Bush because they believed that he would stand with Israel and Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the G–d and people of Israel especially at this critical time when Israel is experiencing terror and violence by the terrorist Yasser Arafat and the PLO. These voters are deeply disappointed that President Bush and his administration are behaving in exactly the same was as the previous administration behaved. This decision of the new administration was taken because, as with previous administrations, they are not yet ready to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Jerusalem is, and will always be, the eternal capital of the G–d and people of Israel whether the administration moves the American embassy to Jerusalem or not. The destiny of Israel will not be decided in Washington and not by any president of the United States or any other head of state in the world but only by the G–d of Israel and in Jerusalem. The prophetic Word of the G–d of Israel throughout the Bible promises very clearly before all the nations that He will stand with Israel forever and that His covenant with Abraham and his seed, Israel, is an eternal covenant. He promised Israel that in these prophetic godly times in which we are now living, which He called the end-times, He will redeem Jerusalem and His holy mountain and again make them His eternal capital and that of Israel.

I will bring the prophetic Word of G–d that He promised to Israel and stated before all the nations who do not want to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move their embassies there. It is so sad for all of these 154 nations that they do not want to obey the Word of G–d and recognise Him and Israel in Jerusalem. This is the Word of G–d to all of them at this critical time: “The word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, Thus says the Lord of hosts; I was zealous for Zion with great zeal, and I was zealous for her with great fury. Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called the City of Truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the Holy Mountain. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Old men and old women shall again dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for the fullness of days. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets. Thus says the Lord of hosts: If it is marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvelous in my eyes? says the Lord of hosts. Thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.” (Zechariah8:1-8)

Israel does not the recognition of any nation in the world that Jerusalem is her eternal capital. Israel has the eternal promise of the G–d of Israel and the Universe that Jerusalem is, and will always be, His and Israel’s eternal capital. We have the Holy One of Israel, our beloved Creator, together with us in Jerusalem. So who else do we need. It would be just a privilege and a blessing for all the nations if their embassies were in Jerusalem and in this way to recognise the G–d and people of Israel, the Word of G–d and His determined decision to make Jerusalem the eternal capital of Israel. They have missed this great opportunity and moment by continuing to stand against Jerusalem and the word of G–d. When they decide to do so, it will be too late. It is so sad that the American presidents did not fulfil the will of their nation to recognise Jerusalem as the only and eternal capital of the G–d and people of Israel and stand strongly with Israel with no doubts especially at this critical time.

Israel stands strongly with the G–d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, our Creator, and His eternal covenant with Israel with no fear of anyone, only of our beloved G–d. G–d repeatedly taught us not to fear even all the nations together but just to trust Him and we are doing so. He taught Israel to be different and separate from all the nations who did not obey his Word and placed the golden idol of materialism in the midst of their lives. We trust in our beloved G–d Who, more than 4000 years ago, made Jerusalem His capital and that of Israel when He sent Abraham and Isaac to Mt. Moriah and when, more than 3000 years ago, He commanded King David to make Jerusalem the eternal capital of the G–d and people of Israel and when He commanded King Solomon to build His house on Mt. Moriah in the midst of Jerusalem. Who can change the Word of G–d? Soon all these nations who are fighting against Jerusalem and Israel will understand what delusions they had and that the Word of G–d that He will judge them in Jerusalem will soon become a clear reality.

Today this is the Word of G–d to all the nations: “The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel, says the Lord, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man inside him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the people around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem. And on that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all who burden themselves with it shall be grievously hurt. And all the peoples of the earth shall be gathered together against it. On that day, says the Lord, I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness; and I will open my eyes upon the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the nations with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength through the Lord of hosts their God. On that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among trees, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the peoples around, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, in Jerusalem. And the Lord shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. On that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he who is feeble among them shall be as David on that day; and the house of David shall be like a divine being, like the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they shall look towards me, regarding those whom the nations have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only son, and shall be in bitterness over him, as one who is in bitterness for his firstborn.” (Zechariah 12:1-10) “Behold, the day of the Lord comes, and the plunder taken from you shall be divided in your midst. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women raped; and half of the city shall go into exile, and the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand on that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in its midst toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall be moved toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And you shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal; yes, you shall flee, like you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the Lord my God shall come, and all the holy ones with you. And it shall come to pass on that day, that there shall not be bright light nor thick darkness; But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night; but it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light. And it shall be on that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth; on that day the Lord shall be one, and his name one. … And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be sacred to the Lord of hosts; and all those who sacrifice shall come and take of them, and cook in them; and on that day there shall not be Canaanites any more in the house of the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 14:1-9,21)

I also advise all the nations to read very carefully the Word of G–d through the prophet Isaiah: “Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, who has drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his fury; you have drunk to the dregs the bowl of staggering. … Thus says your Lord the Lord, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken from your hand the cup of staggering, the deep bowl of my fury; you shall no more drink it again. But I will put it into the hand of those who afflict you; who have said to your soul, Bow down, that we may pass over; and you have laid your body like the ground, and like the street, for them to pass over. Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; from now on there shall no more come to you the uncircumcised and the unclean. Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For thus says the Lord, You have sold yourselves for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money. For thus says the Lord God, My people went down the first time to Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, says the Lord, that my people is taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them howl, says the Lord; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name; therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks; behold, here I am. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace; who brings good news of good, who announces salvation; who says to Zion, Your God reigns! The voice of your watchmen is heard; together shall they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord returns to Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, you ruins of Jerusalem; for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go out from her midst; be clean, you who bear the utensils of the Lord. For you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.” (Isaiah51:17,22,23;52:1-12)

This is a time of testing for all the nations. G–d is testing them through His people, Israel, through His holy mountain, the Temple Mount, and Jerusalem. It is such a disappointment for them that they do not rise up to meet this godly test. G–d promise Abraham that “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you.” So many nations decided not to pay attention to this very important Word of G–d and not to bless but to curse. They will carry the responsibility for their anti-godly and anti-Israeli behaviour.

The G–d of Israel is sending His blessings and love to all those many people all over the world who decided with such righteousness to stand together with Israel, the people of G–d who suffered so much in the exile and who G is now redeeming before all the nations in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount and the land of the covenant with Israel. These wonderful people of whom the prophets spoke have opened their good hearts with such great love to walk together with Israel and to help her to replant her roots in the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and the land of Israel. The G–d and people of Israel will never forget them and their righteousness and their fearless stand with Israel at a time when it was so needed. These wonderful people understand that it was no accident that G–d brought Israel back to His holy mountain, Jerusalem and the chosen land of Israel but it was to fulfil His eternal purpose when He called Abraham for his eternal mission and created the people of Israel. “Now therefore, if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own treasure among all peoples; for all the earth is mine; And you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the people of Israel.” (Exodus 19:5-6) “Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you; and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to restore the land, and to assign desolate inheritances to their owners. That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to those who are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them; for he who has mercy on them shall lead them, by the springs of water shall he guide them. And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be raised up. Behold, these shall come from far; and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing O mountains; for the Lord has comforted his people, and has mercy upon his afflicted.” (Isaiah49:8-13)

“But Zion says, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, even they may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me. Your children shall make haste; your destroyers and those who destroyed you shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes around, and behold; all these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live, says the Lord, you shall surely dress yourself with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on you, as a bride does. For your destruction and your desolate places, and the land of your destruction, shall now be too narrow for your inhabitants; and those who swallowed you up shall be far away. The children who were taken away from you shall say again in your ears, The place is too narrow for me; give me room to dwell in. Then shall you say in your heart, Who has borne me these, seeing I have lost my children, a solitary, an exile, and a wanderer to and fro? and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where have they been? Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations, and set up my standard to the people; and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And kings shall be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers; they shall bow down to you with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the Lord; for those who wait for me shall not be ashamed.” (Isaiah49:14-23)

To all these wonderful friends of the G–d and people of Israel who joined themselves with Israel at this critical time G–d directed His Word when He said: “for those who wait for me shall not be ashamed.” To all these wonderful friends G–d promised with great love and appreciation: “Thus says the Lord, Keep judgment, and do justice; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Happy is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps the sabbath and does not profane it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil. Do not let the son of the stranger, who has joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord has completely separated me from his people; nor let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. … Also the sons of the stranger, who join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one who keeps the sabbath and does not profane it, and all who hold fast to my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. The Lord God who gathers the outcasts of Israel says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those who are already gathered. All you beasts of the field, come into the forest, to devour all the beasts that are there.” (Isaiah 56:1-3,6-9)

I advise all the nations and powers all over the world and President Bush to pay close attention to the above Words of G–d; to accept them and to obey the decision of G–d to again make Jerusalem, the city of King David, His and Israel’s eternal capital, to remove the abomination from His holy mountain, to rebuild His holy temple in our lifetime, and to redeem the people and land of Israel. None of the nations can change this decision of G–d. The redemption of Israel has a deep meaning for all the nations of the world. The destiny of all the world is connected with the destiny of Israel and here, in Jerusalem only as the capital of the people of Israel, it will be decided. There is a prophetic eternal condition and law that when Jerusalem and the holy mountain of G–d are the complete and eternal capital of the G–d and people of Israel then it will become the capital of all the earth.

Very soon the G–d of Israel and the Universe is going to fulfil His long prophetic vision and dream for Jerusalem: “The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for from Zion shall go forth Torah, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall decide for many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.” (Isaiah2:1-5)

The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement, together with these wonderful friends of Israel and the Movement, are committed and dedicated with all their devotion and with no fear of anyone or any enemy only G–d, to fulfil this great godly prophetic end-time vision and to make it a reality in our lifetime. This is what G–d expects of us and we are so privileged and blessed to serve Him in these critical and exciting end-times. We are strong with the G–d of Israel; we trust Him with all our hearts; we are faithful to His Word and promises; and we so want to see their fulfilment in our lifetime. With all my heart I trust these promise of G–d and I know that soon we shall see their fulfilment in our lifetime. Soon we shall stand hand-in-hand before the G–d of Israel in His rebuilt house in Jerusalem and we shall worship him and love Him with all our hearts, souls and strength and we shall thank Him for the great privilege that He gave us of serving Him and His prophetic end-time plans at this great and critical time. Blessed will be all the faithful. Blessed will be all those who give their help and assistance to the Temple Mount Faithful Movement in their holy work and activities to open a godly era in the life of Israel and all mankind.
