(Worthy News) - A new report released by a prominent religious liberty advocacy organization claims that there has been a 133 percent increase in domestic "attacks on religious liberty" in the last five years and about a 15 percent increase in attacks on religious liberty in the last year.

The First Liberty Institute, a conservative legal group dedicated to defending people and organizations whose First Amendment rights have been violated, released its annual report, "Undeniable: The Survey of Hostility to Religion in America," on Tuesday.

The report highlights cases reported in the last few years in which Americans have had their religious liberty rights infringed or "attacked" in one way or another — either in the public arena, in the military, in schools or even within church walls.

"In this edition, the total number of documented incidents in this report increased by over 15 percent over the past year and now includes more than 1,400 religious liberty incidents," the report states.

Compared to 2011, when there were 600 reported cases, the number of religious liberty incidents has increased by 133 percent. [ Source (Read More...) ]

  1. The war on Marriage, in the USA, is where it began.

And I do not mean Gay Marriage.

The institution of marriage, which is the first social unit/institution God created (not "the Church") began to crumble when no one, and I mean no one, defended a wife's right to not be forced to testify against her own husband in order to obtain relief from abuse.

It is exactly law enforcement's job to deal with family members who physically abuse and/or so neglect as to damage other family members. It is not the woman's job to

"Tough Love" threaten her own husband if he will not succumb to her wishes (on anything). That's extortion and it is the government's job (within limits).

It is sometimes the responsibility (and mercy from) of spiritual leaders to intervene to try and keep the family together, provided the abuses stop and healing is allowed to happen.

Sure, when children are involved, adults need to behave like adults. However, when we treat damaged wives with less care than we'd give to a damaged police officer involved, something is wildly out of wack.

Our law enforcement officers are the best trained anywhere in the world. We educate them, equip them (and I do mean with equipment), mentor them on the job, pay them well, make sure they take time off for mental and physical well being - - and yet, expect raped/battered wives to do their jobs for them with broken minds/souls and/or bodies as well as expecting them to plan, save up for, and do the legal papers for all of that, themselves.

    What's wrong with this picture?

Of course, the institution of marriage died in most places.

What chance did it have to survive?

The gays/lesbians/trans/whatevers only rose up into that vast great hole left wide open when no Christian (or Messianic) leader (no Christian Attorney's?) did a thing to stop it from happening. In fact, Dr. James Dobson wrote a book to help wives abuse their husbands instead, it's called "Tough Love."

Makes sense only if it's a wife's job to teach and discipline her own husband like he is her 5 year old son.

Then, men and groups like Promise Keepers blame the Feminists. Sure, it was the fems ideas in the first place which got it started. But it took a complete conspiracy of male abdication, Christian Attorney's abdication, to make it work
    for Satan.
