God is using hurricanes to speak to us, says Anne Graham Lotz

(Worthy News) - Is God trying to send people a message with all of the catastrophic natural disasters taking place all over the world? As far as Anne Graham Lotz of AnGel Ministries is concerned, the answer is yes.

Lotz, the daughter of world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham, wrote in an op-ed piece for Fox News that America has experienced "record-breaking fires in the northwest, record-breaking hurricanes in Texas and Florida, and a record-breaking earthquake in Mexico" within weeks.

But instead of dismissing these as random disasters or freaks of nature, Lotz said Christians should focus on its significance, which may be found in the book of 1 Kings 19.

"The Lord God passed by as the prophet Elijah stood in the mouth of a cave. The description is eerily similar to ours, because first there was a great and powerful wind, but the Lord was not in the wind," she wrote. "After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a still, small voice - the gentle voice of Father God speaking to His frightened, weary child." [ Source (Read More...) ]

  1. God used the eclipse to speak to us too.

Anyone else paying attention to the time lines here?

I suspect both she and her brother, Franklin, are.

In 1998, "privately funded research led to the breakthrough discovery of human embryonic stem cells." That was also the year the USA began it's slide down out of being "Number 1" globally. It is interesting to note that Bill Clinton held the line, back then.

In Feb 2001 (7 months prior to God lifting His hand of protection on the USA with letting 9/11 happen) then President G. W. Bush. "requested a review of the NIH's guidelines, and after a policy discussion within his circle of supporters, implemented a policy in August of that year to limit the number of embryonic stem cell lines that could be used for research. At that time, only 19 stem cell lines existed, yet he allowed for 78 lines to be used.

Then, 9/11 happened. And even Conservative US Christians (Messianics) barely noticed the cause and effect, or completely forgot about it in their terror of Islamic enemies. No, the USA is it's own worst enemy on this.

I'll not list all like this, just some "highlights" on this subject.

In Dec. 2003, the New Jersey legislature passed and it was "signed into law by Governor James McGreevey on January 4, 2004, a bill that permits human cloning for the purpose of developing and harvesting human stem cells." "Specifically, it legalizes the process of cloning a human embryo, and implanting the clone into a womb, provided that the clone is then aborted and used for medical research."

Seriously, that has been legal in a US mainland State since 2003. Any major catastrophic disasters happen in 2003 or later?

On the brighter side, 12 states have passed laws banning or seriously limiting embryonic research. California is not one of those. Financial difficulties have prevented CA from doing the embryonic stem cell research it had approved and planned to do, so far.

As of Aug of 2017, some US scientists are now able to edit human embryos, such as to remove a defective gene.

Then, the US total solar eclipse of the Sun with anther already on the horizon for 7 years from now.

Then hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose, and Maria and the hurricane season is not yet even over. Three of the five of those named previously are the (old) supposedly "rare" category 5. That's just in the US Atlantic.

All throughout the Torah, the Old Covenant(s) writings of the Jewish/Christian Bible (aka the OT) there is a cause and effect (lessons) to God's interactions with both individuals and nations. Even in the New Covenant writings of the apostles (of Christ/Messiah), aka the New Testament, again what man does has results. That's the nature of sin. So, are we to pay attention to what our homes and cities and nation does to the environment and how that affects global warming and sea levels but not pay attention to how our sisters, and daughters, friends and neighbors (again, our nation) treat the unborn? Even to the creating (and implanting?) of new life to disect it, study it, and then kill it (or not)?

Which is worse, to kill a human in the making or a tree? To abuse a cat/kitten/dog or a baby of our own human race?

That's the question. When did it become worse to inhumanely experiment on a horse/monkey but not a human baby? Any who in their right mind thinks a just God would not care enough to extend His little finger to object to it all?

Forgiveness is available but when people be looking at global warming without seeing what nations do to their most vulnerable (I mean, really, human cloning in New Jersey, to be implanted in human wombs as long as it's aborted later!?) is what brings down God's wrath on our nation.

Cause, and effect; Repentance (in Y'shua/Jesus) is what all this is about.
