In his weekly sermon on Friday, Sabri said that the dangers to the mosque and the Islamic sites in Jerusalem still exist, including the closure of the Bab al-Rahma prayer house, which he said is an inseparable part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Sabri repeated a fatwa he released stating that, according to Islam, it is forbidden use the official Israeli curriculum in schools in Jerusalem because these textbooks are contrary to Islam and Islamic values. Anyone who teaches, studies or sends his children to a school where these curricula are taught is a sinner, he stated. [ Source (Read More…) ]
