Hackers Target Israeli Websites

by WorthyNews Staff

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News) — Some of Israel’s largest Websites, including Ynet English and Bank Discount, have been attacked by a pro-Palestinian group, who redirected them to a site with anti-Israeli messages, Worthy News established Monday, January 5.

Users were redirected to a web site which said, “”The bitter truth [of] history repeats itself… and the criminals will be rotting in hell and can’t escape the punishment of God.” At the bottom of the page, hackers described Israel as a “malignant tumor”, saying its “demise” would bring peace to all people.

An Moroccan Islamic group calling itself “Team Evil” claimed responsibility for the attack. The hackers reportedly managed to seize control of an Israeli domain registration server for several hours, and used a server in Japan, where the anti-Israel page was planted.

Israeli Websites monitored by Worthy News were again operating normally Monday, January 5.
