Hurricane Hector closing in on Hawaii and volcano

(Worthy News) – Forecasters are closely watching Hurricane Hector, a powerful category 4 storm that’s about to cross into Central Pacific waters.
At 4 p.m. Sunday, forecasters at the National Hurricane Center said the system was packing maximum sustained winds of 140 mph with higher gusts. The storm was moving west at 14 mph.
Fluctuations in intensity are expected Sunday night and Monday, as the storm is expected to cross into the Central Pacific Basin as a category 4 storm. [ Source: Hawaii News Now (Read More…) ]
