(Worthy News) – President Trump expressed frustration Thursday with the Senate’s delay in advancing his Supreme Court nomination, telling lawmakers it was time to “get on with it.”
The president, speaking to Fox News in Las Vegas just before taking the stage for a political rally, said he believes Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, deserves a chance to be heard, but he said Republicans have been fair in delaying action and trying to give her a chance.
“They have to get on with it,” he said.
The committee vote was supposed to have been earlier Thursday, but the GOP put that off in order to set a hearing next week to give both Judge Kavanaugh and Ms. Blasey Ford a forum to speak. [ Source: Washington Times (Read More…) ]
