(Worthy News) - US President Donald Trump and his peace team say they are prepared to apply pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in their effort to jump-start peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

Senior administration officials have said the president’s Middle East peace plan includes several significant provisions that will pose political challenges to the Israeli premier. And now Channel 10 is reporting that Trump has told France’s president, Emmanuel Macron, that he is prepared to get “tough” with Netanyahu if necessary.

“I gave Bibi a lot – I transferred the embassy to Jerusalem,” the channel quoted Trump as telling Macron. The president also reportedly noted annual US aid to the Israelis. [ Source: Jerusalem Post (Read More...) ]

  1. This is a Jerusalem Post article. It does not necessarily reflect reality. It does reflect the fear that many people in Israel that President Trump is going force Israel to do something detrimental to keeping all its promised land. I don't agree with that view.

  2. So Bibi is now realizing that there is no free lunch with Donald Trump, i.e., even a U.S. embassy in Jerusalem comes with a catch!

“I gave Bibi a lot – I transferred the embassy to Jerusalem,” yet Trump didn't do this out of the goodness of his heart, but so that he can use this recognition as leverage to force Israel into a bad bargain with the PLO. Then Donald can collect his Nobel Peace Prize, but at Israel's expense.

  3. I hope president Trump will do things that will gives God glory and things that that will bring peace to Middle- East
