(Worthy News) - At a time when many states are attempting to widen abortion access, Florida is joining a group of other states that are striving to protect the unborn.

A Florida state senator recently filed a bill to ban abortions after an unborn child’s heartbeat is detected.

According to WSVN News, Republican state Sen. Dennis Baxley filed SB 792 on Wednesday. The wording of the bill states that it would be a felony for any person who “knowingly or purposefully performs or induces an abortion on a pregnant woman with the specific intent of causing or abetting the termination of the life of the unborn human being whose fetal heartbeat has been detected.” [ Source: Life News (Read More...) ]

  1. What this is really all about is selfishness.

    The god of Self.

If a woman doesn't want to carry a baby, don't do "the crime" and/or is
the fornication isn't fornication, but rape, then it's the man's crime and "the god of Self" still has no business making the baby pay for it with its life.

Aborting the baby (fetus) because "the woman shouldn't have to carry it" as a result of rape (or incest) only diminishes how terrible rape (and fornication/adultery) is. Again, making the most innocent human being involved in all of it, the baby, pay for it with its very life.

Abortion to truly save the mother's life, such as when the placenta and baby are lodged in a fallopian tube, when both mother and baby would die to let it progress, those are the only times when it really is between the mother (and the father, if they are married) and her doctor as to what to do. Even the Catholics admit that much. Men who do not, or have not, married the mother have no rights at all. Unless, they were the ones raped. Otherwise, they are fornicators at best. If the mother is unfit, if she dies and leaves no will, then grandparents have rights. Mostly, the maternal grandparents.

But common sense and good morals was long ago lost.
