Humans consuming at least 39,000 microplastic particles per year, says study
(Worthy News) – Humans could be consuming at least 39,000 microplastic particles a year, according to new research.
The Canadian report, which compiled data from a series of studies, estimated that humans each consume between 39,000 and 52,000 particles a year.
That increases twofold when inhaling microplastics from the air around us are included, with up to 121,000 particles consumed. [ Source: Sky News (Read More…) ]
