(Worthy News) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to implement a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine by year-end, following their first meeting on Monday at a summit in Paris mediated by France and Germany.
“The sides commit to a full and comprehensive implementation of the ceasefire, strengthened by the implementation of all necessary ceasefire support measures, before the end of the year 2019,” according to a joint communique.
The four-way summit with the leaders of Germany and France also led to all sides agreeing to implement an “all for all” prisoner exchange by the end of the year. [ Source: Deutche Welle (Read More…) ]
