by Jordan Hilger, Worthy News Correspondent
(Worthy News) – The office of Honduras’s President said Tuesday that the central American country will recognize Hezbollah as a terrorist group, following a recent decision by the German Bundestag to do the same.
Pro-Israel President Juan Orlando Hernandez will join Argentina and Paraguay as well, who designated the Lebanese Iran proxy as terrorists last year, and will join the US and Guatemala in shortly moving his country’s embassy to Jerusalem.
Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz called the move “an important step in the global war on terrorism.”
Hezbollah was formed in 1982 by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and is considered a terrorist organization by the US, UK, Arab League, and Canada.
