(Worthy News) – Islamic State militants killed a Christian college student in Nigeria returning to his studies at the local university, posting a video of the execution online.

Ropvil Daciya Dalep, a member of the Church of Christ in Nations, was kidnapped on Jan. 9, and was a second-year biology education student at the University of Maiduguri.

“We have information that he was abducted on his way to school in Maiduguri, which led to the unfortunate video going ‘round of his killing,” Kenzy Ngupar of the Mupun Cultural and Development Association said. “At this point we condemn in its entirety the senseless abduction and killing of Nigerians.”

The perpetrators, Islamic State West Africa Province, broke off from Boko Haram in 2016, but both, along with the Muslim Fulani herdsmen who seek to appropriate Christian lands, are united in hunting Nigerian Christians for genocidal purposes.
