WH: Trump ‘Appalled’ by Democrats’ Call to Defund the Police

(Worthy News) – Efforts by Democrats to dismantle and defund the police department represents a “rolling back” of the “protective layers that protect Americans in their homes and places of business,” White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Monday.
McEnany was asked about President Donald Trump’s thinking on such proposed reforms, the press secretary said the president is “appalled by the defund the police movement.”
“The fact that you have sitting congresswomen wanting to defund the police, notably Rashida Talib, notably Biden advisor AOC – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – former Clinton and Eric Holder spokesperson Brian Fallon wanting to defund the police.
