(Worthy News) – Federal agents are not leaving the city of Portland, Ore., until the city is secured, President Donald Trump said Wednesday prior to leaving for Texas.
Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler is calling for a meeting with DHS Secretary Chad Wolf “to discuss a cease-fire and the removal of heightened federal forces from Portland.”
“As you know, we’re heading out to Texas right now, but Portland — I’ll give you a little report on Portland. We have the courthouse very well secured. Our people have done a fantastic job. You hear all sorts of reports about us leaving. We’re not leaving until they’ve secured their city,” Trump told reporters on the White House lawn. [ Source: CNS News (Read More…) ]
