KYIV/BUDAPEST (Worthy News) – Up to 70 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in a Russian artillery strike on Ukraine’s north-eastern city of Okhtyrka, several sources say.

It comes as a massive convoy of Russian armor, about 40 miles (64 kilometers) long, advanced on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, satellite images showed.

Air raid sirens are once again were heard in Kyiv with reports of a Russian strike on the outskirts of the city. Dozens of civilians were killed earlier on Monday in Russian missile strikes on Ukraine’s second city, Kharkiv, the interior ministry said.

As the internationally condemned Russian invasion continued, the International Criminal Court’s prosecutor announced he wants to investigate Russia for possible war crimes.

There were no signs of Moscow halting its operations, with local journalists in Kherson saying Russian troops almost completely surround the city.

The fighting happened after Kyiv and Moscow held ceasefire talks in Belarus, which so far failed to end Europe’s largest conflict since World War Two.
