(Worthy News) – The Pentagon believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin “has not been fully informed” of the status of the invasion into Ukraine.

Putin is “being misinformed by his advisers about how badly the Russian military is performing and how the Russian economy is being crippled,” multiple outlets reported Wednesday, citing an unnamed U.S. official. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said he could “concur with the conclusion.”

“The fact that he may not have all the context that he may not fully understand the degree to which his forces are failing in Ukraine — that’s a little discomforting, to be honest with you. And it’s certainly one outcome of that, that could be a less-than-faithful effort at negotiating some sort of settlement here,” Kirby added, also warning that U.S. officials “don’t have access to every bit of information that he’s been given or every conversation that he’s had.” [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More…) ]
