(Worthy News) – U.S. President Donald J. Trump issued a stark warning to Hamas on Monday, saying any violation of the Gaza ceasefire “would be taken care of quickly,” as the U.S. continues efforts to stabilize the fragile truce.

“They’re going to be nice, and if they’re not… we’re going to eradicate them if we have to,” Trump told reporters ahead of a White House meeting with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. “They’ll be eradicated — and they know that.”

The president clarified that he has not instructed Israel to resume strikes in Gaza, adding that Washington is “taking lots of steps to maintain the ceasefire.” His comments come amid rising regional tensions and ongoing negotiations surrounding the next stage of his administration’s peace initiative.
