ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (Worthy News)– Pakistan’s parliament unanimously approved new guidelines Thursday to govern the nation’s relations with the United States.
The guidelines are essential to reopening the NATO supply lines into neighboring Afghanistan that Islamabad closed in November after U.S. air strikes inadvertently killed 24 Pakistani soldiers.
Although the new guidelines will end U.S. drone strikes, the supply lines will be reopened, but at a higher cost to NATO forces.
