Young Christian husbands and fathers killed by Muslims in Nigeria

(Worthy News) – Thirteen young Christian men defending their cattle in Nigeria where murdered by Muslim Fulani herders, who have vowed to execute any Christian “infidel” caught possessing livestock.

Nine of the young men in the mostly Christian Kombun village in Plateau State, where genocide was declared by the Nigerian House of Representatives in 2018, were married and the sole breadwinners for their wives and children.

“The messages in the videos are clear: whether it is the continuous attacks of Boko Haram or ISWAP or even Fulani militia, the fact remains that a full-scale jihad has been launched against Christians in Nigeria,” one local said.

Another local testified that Christians are paradoxically being strengthened by the attacks, while continuing to lose all their farmland to the ruthless herders, who seem to have tacit support from the Muslim-leaning Nigerian government.

“We are sure that Christianity can outlive Boko Haram and all the brutal forces of jihad. The blood of Christians, like that of Christ Jesus, cannot be silenced by acts of cruelty and extreme wickedness emanating from the bowels of Islamic extremism.”

Since 2015, 6,000 Christians have been murdered in Nigeria by Islamic extremists, with 1,000 killed in 2019 alone.
