WASHINGTON (Worthy News) – Former U.S. President Donald Trump has condemned the congressional inquiry into last year’s attack on the Capitol, saying it resembled a “Kangaroo Court” and “a mockery of justice.”

He also maintained that the 2020 presidential election “was stolen” and launched into a campaign-style tirade against current President Joe Biden.

In a 12-page statement, he noticed what he views as Biden’s failures ranging from the bungled Afghanistan withdrawal and what he views as the unsecured Southwestern border.

Trump blasted the inquiry into January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol Building in Washington by rioters claiming to be his supporters.

The Democratic-led panel was “a Kangaroo Court, hoping to distract the American people from the great pain they are experiencing,” under Biden, Trump stressed.

“The truth is that Americans showed up in Washington, DC in massive numbers… on January 6th, 2021, to hold their elected officials accountable for the obvious signs of criminal activity throughout the Election,” Trump added.

Several previous Trump allies, including former Vice-President Mike Pence, have publicly said they do not believe the elections were stolen. Trump has expressed his interest in running again for the White House in 2024.
