Nashville, TN (Worthy News) – A powerful wave of worship and revival swept through the Grand Ole Opry House last week during the 12th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, where Christian artist Brandon Lake emerged as the night’s biggest winner and boldest voice calling believers to be the spark of a spiritual awakening.

Lake, who took home four awards — including the coveted Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his emotional collaboration with Jelly Roll, “Hard Fought Hallelujah” — used his platform to speak not just about music, but revival.

“Revival might come about in the less obvious ways,” Lake told the crowd. “It doesn’t take a platform and a microphone to be a revivalist. You might be the closest thing to Jesus your neighbor will ever experience. Walk across the street, be the hands and feet of Jesus.”

The 34-year-old worship leader, known for his heartfelt anthems and bold faith, added, “I’m scared every single day. But God is with you. He’s for you. Let’s see a revival sweep across this nation. It’s going to take every single one of us.”

His call echoed throughout the evening, with fellow artists and fans responding in worship and unity. Jelly Roll, a country artist whose recent spiritual journey has captivated audiences, celebrated the award from the road. “From a jail cell to a K-LOVE award — that is something only God can do,” he said in a heartfelt video. “I had been praying for a song like this. Brandon gave me permission to be honest about my faith.”

The atmosphere of revival intensified as for KING + COUNTRY led the audience in “Amazing Grace” following their seventh Group of the Year win. Luke Smallbone challenged fellow artists to “burn” for the Lord and stay bold in their faith.

Legendary gospel singer CeCe Winans, who won Female Artist of the Year for the first time, also highlighted the moment’s spiritual weight, while newcomer Leanna Crawford shared her gratitude for the breakthrough success of “Still Waters (Psalm 23),” a song steeped in Scripture and healing.

Throughout the night, the stage became an altar. From Jon Reddick and We The Kingdom’s “No Fear” to Jeremy Camp’s debut of “No Survivors,” the performances felt less like an awards show and more like a worship service — each song reinforcing the message: Revival is here, and it starts with you.

As the final chords rang out and the lights dimmed, Lake’s words lingered in the air like a benediction: “Thank you, Jesus. Let’s go change the world — one hallelujah at a time.”
