Signs of pan-European Nazi movement discovered in Italy
by Jordan Hilger, Worthy News Correspondent
(Worthy News) – Italian police on Thursday uncovered a widespread plan to create a new Nazi party.
After two years of investigations, police in 16 towns and cities ranging from Sicily to the Alps of northern Italy said they discovered a network bound by a “huge and varied array of subjects, residents in different places, united by the same ideological fanaticism and willing to create an openly pro-Nazi, xenophobic and anti-Semitic movement.”
19 suspects were arrested for coordinating with other far-right extremist groups across Europe in an attempt to foster a pan-European alliance devoted to the ideals of National Socialism.
In July Italian police commandeered an air-to-air missile in a raid on far-right groups as anti-Semitic attacks increase throughout Europe.
