Planned Parenthood performs record number of abortions
(Worthy News) – Planned Parenthood performed a record number of abortions in 2018 and 2019, according to new data released by the organization, even while the overall number of abortions that took place in the US fell.
According to its 2018-2019 fiscal report, Planned Parenthood performed 345,672 abortions during that time frame, with a ratio of 81 abortions to every one adoption referral and 35 abortions to every instance of prenatal care.
“There is no more urgent time than now to defund Planned Parenthood and it is imperative that pro-lifers continue to pressure political leaders at the state and federal level to end all forced taxpayer funding of this abortion behemoth,” said Carole Novielli at Live Action.
Statistics on US abortions from the CDC showed that Planned Parenthood performs more than half of the abortions that occur in the US.
