(Worthy News) – In his State of the Union speech on Tuesday, President Donald Trump called on Congress to ‘finally’ ban ‘the late-term abortion of babies,’ adding that all Americans — Republican, Democrat, Independent — can agree that ‘every human life is a sacred gift of God.’
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) define a late-term abortion as occurring at 21 weeks or later in a pregnancy. In late-term abortions a poison is injected to the heart of the baby so it is killed in the womb and then delivered; however, in other instances the baby is dismembered in the womb and the body parts, legs, arms, head, are removed with forceps.
